Battery Lifespan
With optimal use the battery cells will last 3 to 5 years.
For optimal lifespan don’t keep your battery in the charger and use for at least 20 minutes before re charging.
Lots of short charges and constantly leaving the battery in the charger can drastically reduce battery lifespan.

No lights on my AGR charger ?
If the lights don’t come on when charging the battery, leave the battery in the charger for a while and it may start working.

My battery is damaged
A missing charging terminal & other minor damage is usually repairable.

Can you test my charger ?
Send your charger along with the battery and we will test it is working for free.

Posting used AGR batteries in the UK
Post Office: You can post a used Andis AGR battery at the Post Office but you should include a ‘device’ which is either the clipper or charger.
With UPS:  You can post only the battery – Wrap your Andis AGR batteries individually within your parcel and send in a suitable box.

Our Tip
You can send your clippers to service, batteries to re-cell and clipper blades to sharpen at the same time.  This saves you money and completes more jobs at once.
